Yep, exactly like that.
I know I’ve made a promise regarding this weekend but the bike is yelling at me for another long ride.
So here I am on the road again.
This time is a Nevada-Arizona ride, all the way to the ghost town Oatman , AZ .
I also heard that will be an event for biker’s over there so why not to check it out.
I was looking for this ride, especially for the twisted road that is over there, trough the mountains.
Weather is great, sunny and warm , and the almost 300miles ride will be a pleasure.
I’ve got new tires and fresh oil so no reason at all to stay home.
As usually, the plan is simple, on April 20th, Saturday morning at 09.00AM let’s have coffee at Chevron Gas Station on Rainbow and 95 (109 South Rainbow Blvd.) Fill up our gas-tanks , check the tire pressure and a few group pictures.
At 09.30 AM sharp let’s hit the road on 95, then 515 south until Henderson. From there on 11 and finally on 93 south to Kingman, AZ. From here we will jump on 10 aka Oatman Highway.
A few stops for gas and pictures and probably around 1.00PM we will stop in Oatman for lunch. Then back on the road, with a little taste from the Route 66. The road on the way back will be on 95 north.
By 4.30 pm we should to be back in Las Vegas and with a cold beer in our hand and another great story to tell .
Because is a mountain road, I will suggest to have with you some long sleeves, just in case.
The speed…we will try to keep it legal,…. as usually.
Let’s go explore and burn some rubber !
